Who hasn't had the thrill of turning up the radio to hear a favorite song, only to have your parents tell you it is too loud? Kim Williams captures this feeling perfectly through the music and the lyrics in this elementary solo. In Middle C position, the single-line melody is divided between the hands. Hands play together in only a few measures. Students will have fun with the dynamic contrasts in this piece. An optional teacher duet adds harmonic interest and an upbeat feel.
