The two tunes in this volume are based on the tribes of the Sioux Indians who occupy territory near the Canadian boarder with the USA. They are suitable for inexperienced trumpet players giving them something exciting to play. The soothing Prairie Lullaby contrasts with the exciting and rhythmic Totem Dance providing an accessible and gratifying pair of pieces for young students.
